Our Approach

Slow travel.
Deep belonging.

We believe the most memorable experiences aren't planned to the minute. They happen when you sit with a winemaker at dusk, discover a hidden valley trail, or share a table with strangers who become friends.

"Not a tour. Not a package.
A way of being in a place."

Hike & Bike curates small-group experiences in Catalonia for those who want to truly inhabit a landscape — not simply pass through it. Every route, every meal, every moment is chosen with intention.

Gastronomy & Local Culture

The table
is part of
the journey.

Catalonia is a gastronomic civilization. Its landscapes feed its kitchens — wild mushrooms from the mountains, olive oil from ancient groves, anchovies from the Costa Brava, wine from volcanic soils.

We weave food and culture into every experience — not as an add-on, but as an essential thread of how a place is understood.

  • Private tastings at family-owned wineries and caves
  • Morning market visits in Girona and surrounding towns
  • Lunches at farms, masies, and hidden village restaurants
  • Cooking experiences with local chefs and producers
  • Olive oil and artisan cheese introductions

About Hike & Bike

Born from
a love of this land.

We are a small team, rooted in Girona, shaped by years of living, walking, and cycling through Catalonia. We didn't start a travel business — we shared what we already loved.

Our guides are locals, naturalists, and storytellers. Our partners are farmers, winemakers, and village cooks who have been feeding people for generations. Nothing here is invented.

We built Hike & Bike for those who want to belong somewhere, even briefly — and leave with more than photographs.
